The same therapy won't work for everyone
At MindHug we believe that when it comes to mental health solutions, one size definitely does not fit all. Our range of therapies are designed to explore different ways of improving mental health, for different types of people. Some may prefer the inner peace of Mindfulness, whilst others may prefer the ebb and flow of artistic therapy.

With growing evidence to suggest their effectiveness, our therapists currently offer the following types of therapies. There'll also be more coming soon.
Music Therapy

Music is used as an outlet to express your psychological needs, supports you emotionally and helps with physical rehabilitation. It can also help elevate mood, relax the mind and reduce stress.

Our therapists create bespoke sessions and engage you in music creation, songwriting, singing & listening.

Artistic Therapy

Well supported by scientific evidence, artistic therapy helps you to become more self-aware and understand your perceptions, imaginations and feelings.

Artistic therapy engages you in techniques ranging from drawing and painting to sculpting. And don't worry, you don't need to be 'arty' to give it a go. The emphasis is more on the process than creating a master piece.
Sound Therapy

Our sound therapy focuses on Binaural beats, Solfeggio Frequencies and meditation. The sound waves they produce can help reduce stress and anxiety, foster positive moods and promote creativity. For some they also help with past traumas, boosting memory and lengthening their attention span.

These audio sessions are quite passive, designed to be listened to in stereo, through headphones for the best results.

Mindfulness

This form of meditation heightens your sense of awareness of the moment. The results lead to improved relationships, a reduction in depression, and help with sleep disorders and even job burnout.

Yoga

With an ever-growing body of research, yoga has proven to be immensely effective in improving mental wellbeing. It improves concentration, increases body awareness, calms and centres the nervous system and reduces muscle tension. Practised in workshops and retreats, yoga can also enhance the sense of belonging.

Our sessions include different styles of yoga, breath work and meditation. You don't need to be a pro and they can be practised individually or in groups or workshops.

Laughter Therapy

This cognitive therapy aims to make physical, psychological and social relationships healthier, leading to an improvement in the quality of life. It can also have a positive effect on the immune system and help reduce stress. By using humour as a tool, we can also improve communication and help build an environment of trust and support.

The great thing is this therapy does not require any special preparation and is therefore very easy to practice. Mostly you just need to laugh!
